The quarter gallery assembly is designed as a perfect fit to the stern fascia. |

Through the use of tabs and slots, the quarter gallery patterns are automatically aligned at the correct angle to accept the skins. |

With the quarter gallery fitted, the gun deck is fitted and planked before attention turns to the inner gunport patterns. |

With the quarter gallery fitted, the gun deck is fitted and planked and attention then turns to the inner gunport patterns. The opposite pictures demonstrate how best to align the inner gunport patterns. The top picture shows the inner gunport patternincorrectly positioned; looking through the gunport, you can see the opposite corresponding gunport perfectly central (black square) but the inner gunport pattern is off centre as only the top and left edges can be seen (red lines). The lower picture shows the inner gunport pattern correctly positioned; again with the opposite corresponding gunport seen perfectly central (black square), the inner gunport is now also just visible and perfectly centred (red square). When this is achieved the inner gunport pattern can be pinned and glued into place. |
